THANKSGIVING COMMUNITY SERVICE PROJECT
Muslim and Jewish teenagers came together to help community members struggling with poverty and food security on November 17 at Queens Commonpoint partnered with Turkish Cultural Center Queens. Together, teens discussed what they can do to fight poverty and food security, visited food pantry and designed beautiful bags with texts and meaningful messages for seniors who were registered to pick food from the food pantry.
Thanks to the Queens Commonpoint and all the volunteers who participated in this altruistic project.
