Sunnyside Shines partnered with the Turkish Cultural Center of Queens is excited to present a Sunnyside Pop-Up Bazaar in Lowery Plaza. This day long event will include Turkish music, dance performances, Turkish food, and handmade crafts from local Sunnyside makers! Join us for this two-day fair to celebrate the vibrancy of Turkish culture. Check back for the full list of vendors and performers soon!
The Bazaar will also include a specialty booth curated by the Turkish Cultural Center vending Turkish goods.
For both days, artists will be performing Turkish henna (1-3pm) and Ebru marbling (3:30-4:30pm) for the public at Lowery Plaza. From 2-4pm, enjoy live Turkish music by Scott Wilson, who uses an oud to play.
