As a result of the COVID-19 outbreak, many individuals and families find themselves out of work and without access to income or safety nets to meet basic needs. With the support of of generous donors, and collaboration of Assemblyman Phil Ramos and Pronto Food Pantry, Turkish Cultural Center Long Island created a COVID-19 Emergency Relief Fund to provide food to over 100 families who were disproportionately impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
