Blanket and Coat Drive for Syrian Refugees

The Turkish Cultural Center and St John’s Episcopal Church in Staten Island is participated in a blanket and coat drive organized by Embrace Relief.

Embrace Relief and Kimse Yok mu is a nonprofit organization jointly bring 17 container and teams of volunteers to collaborate on humanitarian aid and disaster relief efforts. The foundation collects, delivers and distributes supplies and resources to families, individuals and institutions. The Turkish Cultural Center of Staten Island and St John’s Episcopal Church are made an effort to collect blankets and coats for refugees who have fled Syria for Turkey due to the violence in Syria. The effort is to help Syrian refugee families in need during the harsh winter weather.

The Turkish Cultural Center and St John’s Episcopal Church are participated in this aid program with monetary donations and by collecting new or gently used, clean blankets and coats at several drop-off locations. The Turkish Cultural Center and St John’s Episcopal Church is grateful for donations and support for this humanitarian effort.
