On January 26, 2013 Turkish Cultural Center Staten Island organized Ebru demonstration by Yasemin Ozsavasci at TCC Staten Island branch. Ebru is one of the most unique and beautiful forms of Turkish art, and also known as water marbling.
Turkish Cultural Center Staten Island started to hold its monthly Coffee Night of this year on September 19, Wednesday. At the beginning of the program,there was a video presentation about Turkey. Then attendees tasted delicious Turkish food, Turkish delight and of course Turkish coffee.

Turkish Cultural Center New York presents “Sufi Music with Rumi” to New Yorkers at New York Public Library as a part of the Sacred Music: “Three Faith: Judaism, Christianity, and Islam.” This event will bring people from various backgrounds and provide an insight of the philosophy and theoretical background of Sufism. As Rumi points out in his search for eternal love and peace where everyone is equally welcome; this event also aims to showcase and reflect New York’s inclusiveness, harmony and unity where dreams can come true.
