Students from the weekend school and the Representatives from Turkish Cultural Center of Rochester visited Senator Joe Robach on the date of 22nd of February.

The last two Film Screening events were jointly organized by Turkish Cultural Center of Rochester and Turkish Student Association at the University of Rochester. 

The movies shown were "Vizontele" and "The Magic Carpet Ride", both in the genre of Comedy & Drama and both by the director Yilmaz Erdogan.

The Turkish Cultural Center of Rochester had the pleasure to collaborate with other non-profit organizations to organize one of the now-traditional Turkish Coffee Nights, on December 7th at RIT. They joined efforts with the Rochester International Council (RIC) and Turkish Student Association (TSA) at the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT), as well as English Language Center (ELC) at RIT. This time the coffee night featured Noah's Pudding.

A group of volunteers at TCC initiated a Film Screening Series so that members of the community get to know Turkish culture and people from an artistic point of view. The first movies to be screened were "My Father and My Son" and "The White Angel". Both movies have received high ratings from critics and fans and have been among the most viewed movies in the last decade.

Many guests joined us for some delicious Turkish food and coffee at the Turkish Cultural Center in Rochester. We were very pleased to have very special guests. We had local officials as well as students from the University of Rochester joining us on November 2nd for some Turkish coffee and baklava.
