IMG_51121On Sunday, October 30, 2011, the 40th Annual Festival of Nations will be held at the Empire State Plaza Convention Center in Albany, NY.

The Festival of Nations, Inc. is comprised of over 25 not-for profit ethnic organizations in the Capital District. The major purpose of the Festival of Nations is to create an awareness and appreciation for the cultural heritage of people from diverse national origins and to promote understanding, fellowship and cooperation among the many ethnic groups in the Capital District.

Annual Festival of Nations will be held at the Convention Center Empire State Plaza. This event is particularly important for us for representing our community in such an ethnic rich environment. We will open two stands in this event. One of our stands will be dedicated to Turkish arts and crafts and the other one will be for delicious Turkish food. And also the students from our weekend school will perform traditional Turkish folk dance.
